Speech & Scripts

Float Teleprompter processes your speech using Apple's on-device Speech Recognition framework. Audio is processed entirely on your device and is never sent to our servers.

Your scripts are stored locally on your device. We do not have access to your script content.

Video Recordings

Videos recorded in Studio mode are saved locally on your iPhone. We do not upload, access, or process your recordings.

Information Stored Locally

  • Script text you enter
  • Video recordings from Studio mode
  • App preferences (font size, scroll speed)

This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to any server.

Analytics

We do not collect analytics, usage data, or any telemetry from the app.

How We Use Your Information

  • Local Data: Used solely to provide app functionality on your device
  • Speech Data: Processed on-device by Apple's Speech framework to match spoken words to your script (Smart Scroll)
  • Camera & Microphone: Used in Studio mode for recording. Audio and video stay on your device.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with any third parties.

Data Security

Your data is stored locally on your device using secure storage methods provided by the operating system. Since no data is transmitted to external servers, there is no risk of server-side data breaches.

Data Retention

All data remains on your device until you delete the app or clear app data. We do not retain any information.

  • Access: View all your data within the app
  • Delete: Remove all data by deleting the app
  • Control: Microphone and camera access can be revoked at any time in Settings

Float Teleprompter does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app is suitable for all ages.
